Bangla Tigers has appointed Aftab Ahmed as head coach, Richard Stonier as trainer and assistant coach, Nazmul Abedin Fahim as Mentor and retained Kunal Manek as Analyst, and Yasin Arafat as Operation head for the upcoming season of the Abu Dhabi T10 Cricket League 2022-23 held in November 2022 as per tentative schedule.
Aftab Ahmed is former head coach of Bangla Tigers in the 3rd season of ADT10. Aftab is the most successful coach of Bangla Tigers history. Bangla tigers concluded its very 1st season 2019 as the 2nd runner up under his coaching.
After signing the contract, the newly appointed head coach Aftab Ahmed said – I felt like returning back to my own home. I’ve enjoyed our very first T10 league mission and I am eagerly waiting to work with some great players and outstanding team management. In my first mission as the coach, Bangla Tigers concluded the tournament as 2nd runner up and this year our target is to conquer the championship title.
Nazmul Abedeen Fahim assists Aftab Ahmed very well with his tremendous technical support in the very first season of Bangla Tigers. He is the most trusted advisor for the Bangladeshi cricketers. Stonier started working as a trainer in Bangladesh high performance unit in July 2018 and changed the attitude of the players drastically. He has a reputation for tidy work and friendly behavior and is also famous as Pagla Bhai in Bangladesh.
Abu Dhabi T10 league is the first ever and only ICC approved ten-over cricket league organized by “T10 Sports Management” held in Abu Dhabi. By the direct patronization of Abu Dhabi Govt.
